We understand that you are concerned about your privacy, along with the confidentiality and security of any personal information that you provide to us. We consider your privacy to be important and take reasonable steps to protect it.

Monzi operates as a lender-finder and referral service only and does not provide credit or make lending decisions.

We automatically gather information to monitor your use of our websites and referral services. In general, personal information is used to evaluate, improve, personalise, and develop our business. More specifically, we use personal information:
- To maintain our relationships with those to whom we provide referral services;
- To administer, manage, and deliver referral services;

- To provide to entities that manage and administer finance you have requested through us;
- To promote and market products and/or services provided by us or associated entities that we believe may be of interest; and
- To provide to other entities so that they may promote and market products and/or services that may be of interest, only with your consent or where permitted by law.
Other than for these purposes, or where required or authorised by law, we do not disclose personal information without consent.

We may use your personal information for promotional purposes. You may opt out at any time. Opting out only unsubscribes you from that specific sender; to unsubscribe from all marketing originating from Monzi, please email hello@monzi.com.au.
Compliance note: All marketing complies with the Spam Act 2003 and Do Not Call Register Act, including email, SMS, and telemarketing communications.
6. Government identifiers
We do not generally collect government identifiers (passport number, license number, Medicare number, or TFN). Where we do, we do not disclose them to non-associated entities without your express consent.
7. Sensitive information
Sensitive information includes racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, philosophical beliefs, union membership, sexual orientation, and criminal records. We will not generally collect sensitive information; if we do, it will only be used or disclosed in accordance with the Privacy Act and with your consent unless legally required.

When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or delete it securely, unless we are required by law to retain it.

- We store personal information on AWS servers in Sydney and the USA.
- Google Analytics may process cookies and usage data in the USA.
- Data is only disclosed overseas with consent or when required/authorised by law.

13. Accessing, Amending, Deleting Personal Information

- Deletion requests will be actioned unless legally required to retain the data.

Personal information from users outside Australia will be transferred to Australia and processed in line with this Policy.
